Asus Eee PC X101 is closing in fast and proof of that comes from US stores who have started putting the slim netbook up on their website. The listings are of the X101 version running MeeGo and they go as low as $$199.73.
The ice-breaking Eee PC X101-EU17-BK features a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) display, a 1.33 GHz Atom N435 single-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8GB SSD, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a microSD card slot, and a 3-cell 2600 mAh battery. Shipments of both MeeGo and Windows 7-based Eee PC X101s are expected to kick off next month.
